Our very first Warehouse Sale has ended, yet the memories of that day remain vivid. It was more than an opportunity to shop; it was a chance to meet, connect, and share with the people who continue to inspire Weavve Home. Beatrice was one of them. After the event, she agreed to share her experience with us, a story that reflects exactly why Weavve Home exists. In her conversation with Dan, our co-founder, she revealed how her search for better sleep led her to discover the comfort of TENCEL™.

The Turning Point in Sleep

For years, Beatrice made do with polyester sheets, but they left her struggling against Singapore’s climate. On warmer nights, sleep was almost impossible. “I used to sleep on cheap polyester sheets, and I realised they were very dependent on air-conditioning or external factors,” she recalled. 

“On hotter days, it was almost impossible to get comfortable, and that really affected my sleep quality.”

This frustration pushed her to start searching for something better. She explored linen, cotton, and other materials, weighing cost against comfort and quality. Linen, though appealing, felt too expensive, while cotton was overwhelming with countless varieties and marketing claims. 

“At that time, TENCEL™ wasn’t as popular yet, which actually made it easier for me to sift through the information and understand what I was getting,” she said.

The more she learned, the more she realised that sheets were not just a functional item but an investment in rest. That turning point set her on the path to our TENCEL™ sheets.

Is it worth investing in premium sheets? Many people ask this, and it often stops them from upgrading. The price, the care, and the worry that they might not feel much different can make cheaper options seem safer.

Beatrice felt the same way at first. “Initially, I was hesitant. Some brands offered samples or had showrooms, which gave me more confidence in what I was ordering. But the challenge was that most of these showrooms were air-conditioned, so it didn’t really reflect the actual environment at home.”

At last, she decided to give it a try. She placed her first order with a mix of nerves and excitement.

Once you experience the difference, that’s when you really understand the value,” she said.

She also shared a small wish for the future. The tote bags that come with our sheets are beautiful and useful, but for long-term storage she hopes to see proper storage bags that zip up. For us, feedback like this is what helps us improve, and we are grateful for customers who share openly.
