If you've been with Weavve Home for a while, the title of this article might have made you do a double-take. Loungewear in Singapore? From a bedding brand? Yes, you read that right.

For the first time, we're taking our idea of comfort beyond the bed and into what you wear at home. Together with Olive Basics, we've created our first-ever loungewear collection, bringing together what both brands know best about thoughtful design, quality materials, and feeling good at home.

Launched in August 2026, the Weavve Home x Olive Basics collection features five pieces designed for the moments between sleep and everything that comes after, from slow mornings and working from home to stepping out for a quick errand. And we're very excited to finally share how it all came together.

Why Weavve Home and Olive Basics Decided to Make This Together

What really brought us together was that Olive Basics and Weavve Home share a very similar design philosophy. We both care deeply about comfort, simplicity, and choosing natural fibres that feel good against the skin.

Weavve Home has long worked with TENCEL™ in our bedding, while Olive Basics creates functional clothing with a strong focus on natural fibres and TENCEL™ blends. For both of us, the material is never just an afterthought. It shapes how a product feels, performs and fits into everyday life.

Inspired by How the Olive Basics Community Lounges

We didn't want to simply guess what people might want from their loungewear. We wanted to hear from real people about what they actually wear, how they spend their time at home, and what would make their loungewear more comfortable and practical.

Olive Basics asked its community about their habits and preferences, and their answers helped shape some of the key details in the collection.

"We designed this as a set, then built every piece to break away from it. No matching co-ord colours. Different fabrics for tops and bottoms, purposed for a balance between drape and structure. Each item has to hold its own next to jeans or a skirt, because the moment loungewear only works as a matching pair, you stop leaving the house."

Chloe Braless Reversible Tank

This was one of the pieces we were most interested in rethinking. A tank can feel incredibly simple, but when it comes to lounging at home, there is often a trade-off between wearing a shelf bra that feels restrictive and going without support altogether.

With the Chloe Braless Reversible Tank, we wanted to create another option. The inner layer gives gentle coverage without feeling like a traditional bra, while removable pads let you decide how much support you want. We also made the neckline reversible, with a scoop on one side and a square neckline on the other.

It is the kind of piece we imagine wearing to bed, through a slow morning, and still feeling comfortable enough to keep on when the day starts.

Chloe Oversized Croppable Tee

This one came from a very familiar habit: 48% of the Olive Basics community told us they sleep in their partner's loose T-shirt.

We loved that relaxed, oversized feeling, but wanted to make it a little more intentional. The Chloe Oversized Croppable Tee stays longer when you are sleeping or lounging, then uses a simple button-tab system to change the shape when you want a shorter silhouette during the day.

Instead of having one tee for bed and another for going out, we wanted this one to move naturally between both.

Charissa Gentle Waist Pocket Shorts

The Charissa Gentle Waist Pocket Shorts combine a drawstring front with an elasticated back, giving you adjustment where you want it and a little more give where you need it. And because 70% of the Olive Basics community asked for real pockets, we gave them four.

We also added a longer rise and small side slits so there is more room to sit, sleep, curl up, or move around without the shorts pulling against the body.

Noah Lightweight Multi-Functional Tee

For the men's tee, we started with something that happens across a full night: you might feel warm when you go to bed, cooler before dawn, and then need something presentable enough to keep wearing once you are up.

The Noah Lightweight Multi-Functional Tee was designed around those changing moments. Its raglan cut gives the body an easy drape without clinging, while the curved hem keeps it looking considered even when worn untucked.

We wanted it to feel just as natural at 11 pm as it does the next morning, whether that means staying in bed, heading downstairs, joining a call, or stepping out.

Featuring the Noah Lightweight Multi-Functional Tee

Noah Multi-Pocket Stretch Shorts

For the men's shorts, we kept coming back to two common frustrations with loungewear: waistbands that start to dig in after a few hours and pockets that look useful but really aren't.

The Noah Multi-Pocket Stretch Shorts borrow a few construction ideas from proper trousers while keeping the softness you would expect from something made to sleep in. The waistband is designed to sit comfortably for longer, while four functional pockets make the shorts useful beyond the bedroom.

One of the smaller details is the diamond gusset through the crotch, which was added to keep the area flatter and smoother when sitting, sleeping, or moving.

"The diamond gusset creates a nice, flat surface at the crotch area, whether guys wear it with or without underwear. There are no seams there that should feel like they're pricking you. We also added a mock J feature without a zip, so you still get the look and coverage without the hardware."

Two Fabrics, Because Tops and Bottoms Need Different Things

Rather than using one fabric across the whole collection, we chose two.

Tops need softness and drape while still helping the wearer stay comfortable as temperatures change. Bottoms need more structure, opacity, stretch and recovery.

Both fabric families use Lenzing-certified TENCEL™ as their primary fibre, following the same certification standard used in Weavve Home's core bedding range.

For Gillian, the idea of bringing TENCEL™ into clothing actually began with her own experience of sleeping in it.

"My experience with TENCEL™ started with bedding. I realised that if I could feel this relaxed and comfortable when I went to sleep, why couldn't I bring that experience and feeling with me while wearing my clothes throughout the day? That was why we started sourcing and exploring not just TENCEL™, but TENCEL™ blends."

TENCEL™ Wool Spandex: Made for Tops That Need to Breathe and Drape

All tops in the collection use a 200g TENCEL™ Wool Spandex blend:

77.1% Lenzing TENCEL™ · 16.9% Wool · 6% Spandex

The TENCEL™ component helps manage moisture, while wool adds thermoregulating properties that help the fabric respond as body temperature changes.

At 200g with 6% spandex, the fabric also has enough weight to drape without clinging, helping the tops feel relaxed while still looking presentable outside the bedroom.

"We wanted something that fulfils what you want to feel at home. But the direction isn't just to wear it when you sleep or lounge around. You can go downstairs to buy something, or we can even envision people attending their Zoom calls in it. This blend delivers comfort, but also a slightly more sophisticated look and a different approach to loungewear."

TENCEL™ Modal Combed Cotton Spandex: More Structure Where It Matters

For the bottoms, we wanted more weight and structure without losing that soft, comfortable feeling.

The 260g TENCEL™ Modal Combed Cotton Spandex blend contains:

44.5% Lenzing TENCEL™ Modal · 44.5% Combed Cotton · 11% Spandex

At 260g, the fabric provides more opacity through different movements and positions. The 11% spandex gives the bottoms substantial stretch with recovery, while combed cotton removes shorter fibres to create a smoother, more broken-in feel from the first wear.

It gives the shorts the structure they need while still being comfortable enough for extended wear at home.

Fitting Day Feedback: What Our First Guests Thought

On 18 July 2026, we invited 13 guests to a fitting day to try all five pieces across the women's and men's range.

But before we share what they thought, here's a warm message from Dan and Gillian about what they hope you feel the very first time you put on the collection.

"The first thing I want you to feel is that you actually feel cooler in our fabrics. The most amazing thing is when you come in wearing your own clothes, change into ours, and immediately feel the difference when you walk out of the fitting room. It's as simple as that."

The fitting day also gave us useful feedback on some of the smaller details, from fit and proportions to how certain features felt when actually worn. Both teams took those comments back into the design process, discussed what could be improved, and made the necessary refinements before launch.

So the collection you see today is not simply the version we first brought into the fitting room. It is the version shaped by those final conversations, adjustments, and real first impressions.

How should I care for the loungewear pieces?

Because the tops and bottoms use different fabric blends, they have slightly different care instructions.

For pieces made from TENCEL™ Wool Spandex, machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle or wool cycle using a mild detergent, preferably liquid. Do not tumble dry, bleach, iron, or dry clean. Always dry flat rather than hanging, as hanging can stretch the fabric. Washing inside out in a garment bag can also help reduce pilling. Some pilling is natural with wool and can be refreshed with a fabric shaver.

For pieces made from TENCEL™ Modal Combed Cotton Spandex, machine wash cold with like colours on a gentle cycle using mild detergent. They may be tumble dried on low, but high heat should be avoided. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean. Washing inside out will also help preserve the fabric and reduce pilling.

Does the wool blend feel itchy?

No. The TENCEL™ Wool Spandex blend was designed to feel soft against the skin rather than like a traditional wool garment.

Wool makes up 16.9% of the fabric and is blended with 77.1% Lenzing TENCEL™ and 6% spandex, creating a softer, smoother feel for extended wear.

How breathable is the TENCEL™ blend?

It is designed to be breathable and comfortable for extended wear.

In the tops, TENCEL™ is blended with wool to combine moisture management with thermoregulation, helping the fabric respond as your body temperature changes through the night and into the day. The fabric also helps move moisture away from the skin, which is why we chose it for pieces designed to be worn for hours at a time.

Can the fabric handle both sleeping and everyday wear?

That was one of the main ideas behind the collection.

We wanted the pieces to feel comfortable enough for sleeping and lounging without looking so much like sleepwear that you immediately need to change before joining a Zoom call, heading downstairs, or running a quick errand.

That is also why every piece was designed to work individually rather than only as part of a matching set.

Can I wear the pieces outside the house?

Yes, and that was very much the point. The bottoms are cut at 260g, heavy enough to stay properly opaque through sitting, bending, and movement, with four working pockets deep enough for a phone.

The Noah Multi-Pocket Stretch Shorts also add a diamond gusset for ease of movement and a mock J front that gives extra coverage without a zip to sleep on.

Why use wool in loungewear made for a tropical climate?

Because wool regulates temperature in both directions rather than simply adding warmth.

If you tend to overheat in the middle of the night and then feel cold closer to morning, the wool component helps the fabric respond to both shifts, while TENCEL™ moves moisture away from the skin before it has a chance to sit.

Does the Chloe Braless Reversible Tank need a bra?

No. The Chloe Braless Reversible Tank has a shorter inner layer with a soft, thin elastic sewn to the outer tank, giving you coverage and light support without a shelf bra gripping under the bust.

Removable pads let you decide how much support you want, and the reversible neckline lets you choose between a scoop and a square look.

Why are the sizes paired, like S/M?

Each piece is cut with enough stretch and ease to fit comfortably across two conventional sizes, which is why the sizing runs in pairs.

Women's pieces run from XS/S to XL/XXL, while men's pieces run from S/M to XL/XXL.

How many wears can I get between washes?

More than you might expect. Wool naturally resists odour and TENCEL™ moves moisture away before it settles into the fabric, so a piece typically stays fresh across a couple of wears before it needs a wash.
