We already had a good range of solid colours in our Cotton Collection, so adding one more shade didn't feel like enough of a refresh. We wanted to give the collection a little more personality and, at the same time, more versatility.
That led us to explore patterns for the first time. The idea wasn't to suddenly make our bedding feel bold or decorative. We still wanted everything to feel calm, clean, and easy to style, which is very much part of Weavve Home.
So we focused on simple details like pinstripes and contrast that could work beautifully on their own, while still sitting naturally alongside the solid colours we already had.
That thinking eventually became our upcoming cotton bedsheet designs for launching soon: Willow Green, Willow & Ivory, and Willow Pinstripe.
Here is how we got there.

A Fresh Chapter for Our Cotton Collection
Our Cotton Bedsheet Collection has always been about comfort that gets better with time.
Made from 100% extra-long-staple cotton with a 600 thread count, our cotton sheets have the buttery-smooth feel our customers know, while becoming softer with every wash. They are breathable, durable, and designed for people who prefer the familiar, comforting feel of cotton.
But when we looked at the collection as a whole, we realised something: much of our creative attention over the years had gone toward our Signature TENCEL™ Collection.
It felt like the right time to give cotton its own refresh.
"Our Signature TENCEL™ collection has always been at the heart of Weavve Home, but this year we wanted to give our Cotton Collection the same level of attention."
(Beverly Loh, Content Marketing & Design Manager, Weavve Home)
The goal was not to replace what already worked. We wanted to take the comfort people already knew and give them more ways to make it feel like their own.

Why We Decided to Explore Patterns
The easiest option would have been to introduce another shade.
Instead, we asked ourselves what we could do with cotton that we had not tried before.
That led us to patterns.
"We challenged ourselves to do something we hadn't done before - introduce patterns. Instead of launching another solid colour, we explored pinstripes and colour-blocking to offer customers more variety while keeping the designs timeless and easy to style."
(Beverly Loh)
We did not want a print that would feel loud for a season and dated the next. Whatever we introduced still needed to sit naturally beside the clean, understated pieces already associated with us.
Pinstripes gave us that balance. They add enough detail to make a bed feel different without taking over the entire room. Contrast allowed us to explore the same idea in another way, adding definition while keeping the overall look simple.
And rather than choosing one direction, we created three.

Why Willow Green?
Once we decided to introduce more variation, we needed a colour that could hold the collection together.
We chose Willow Green because we wanted something fresh, but still calm enough to live with every day. We explored several greens, but some felt too bright or strong once we imagined them across a full bed.
Willow Green had a softer, more muted quality that worked naturally with cotton. It brings colour into the room without taking over the space, and pairs easily with whites, creams, warm neutrals, and natural wood tones.
For us, it felt like the right balance between introducing something new and keeping the relaxed, easy-to-style look that feels true to Weavve Home.

Meet the Three Willow Designs
Rather than asking everyone to love Willow in exactly the same way, we created three interpretations of it.
Willow Green
Willow Green is the simplest expression of the collection.
The muted solid shade makes it easy to introduce colour while keeping the bedroom clean and minimal. It can work as the main look across the bed or as the quieter base for one of the more detailed Willow designs.
If your style tends toward simple, uncluttered spaces, this is where we would start.

Willow & Ivory
Willow & Ivory turns the same palette up slightly.
The contrasting details bring more definition to the bed without moving away from the understated look we wanted for the collection.
It was created for the person who likes a clean bedroom but still wants one detail that makes the bedding feel considered rather than completely uniform.

Willow Pinstripe
Willow Pinstripe is where we stepped furthest outside what we had done with cotton before.
The subtle stripe takes inspiration from the polished, tailored feel often associated with hotel bedding, but keeps the pattern restrained enough for everyday bedrooms.
For us, it was important that our first patterned cotton design still felt unmistakably Weavve Home. The stripe brings character, but the muted palette keeps the overall effect quiet and easy to style.
"Whether you prefer a minimalist bedroom, something with a little contrast, or subtle patterns inspired by luxury hotels, there's a design that fits your style."

Made to Mix, Match, and Make Your Own
Designing three options was only part of the idea.
We deliberately built Willow Green, Willow & Ivory, and Willow Pinstripe around the same colour palette so they could work together, not just separately.
"Although each design has its own identity, they're all built around the same colour palette, making it easy to mix and match pillowcases, duvet covers, and fitted sheets to create a bedroom that feels uniquely yours."
(Beverly Loh)
That means you do not have to choose Willow Pinstripe and use stripes everywhere.
You might pair a Willow Green fitted sheet with a Pinstripe duvet cover. Keep most of the bed solid and introduce contrast through the pillowcases. Or combine the designs differently the next time you change your sheets.
The idea is to give you enough coordination that everything still feels intentional, but enough variation that the finished bed does not have to look exactly like anyone else's.
That freedom was ultimately one of the biggest reasons we created the collection this way.
"For us, this collection isn't just about adding a new colour - it's about giving our customers more freedom to personalise their bedrooms without compromising on the clean, understated aesthetic that Weavve Home is known for."

Frequently Asked Questions
What material are Weavve Home's cotton sheets made from?
Our cotton bed sheets are made from 100% extra-long-staple cotton, using fine 100s yarn count, single-ply threads and a 600 thread count construction. The longer, finer fibres help create sheets that feel smooth while remaining strong and durable.
What do Weavve Home's cotton sheets feel like?
Think buttery smooth rather than slippery or silk-like. Our cotton has a more familiar, crisp feel than TENCEL™ and is designed to become softer with every wash.
Are cotton sheets suitable for hot and humid weather?
Yes. Cotton is naturally breathable and can be a comfortable option in warm climates. If cooling and moisture management are your highest priorities, however, TENCEL™ Lyocell has an advantage, particularly in humid conditions.
How do cotton sheets compare with TENCEL™ sheets?
They offer different sleeping experiences rather than one being better for everyone.
Our TENCEL™ Lyocell sheets feel smoother, silkier, and more drapey, with stronger cooling and moisture-management properties. Cotton has a more familiar buttery-soft feel, a crisper matte appearance, and continues to soften with washing.
If you tend to sleep hot or love silky sheets, TENCEL™ may suit you better. If you prefer classic cotton with an easygoing feel that softens over time, cotton may be your match.
How often should cotton bedsheets be washed?
About once a week is a practical starting point for most people, although you may want to wash them more frequently if you sweat heavily, have allergies, or share your bed with pets.
For Weavve Home cotton sheets specifically, use a gentle machine wash in lukewarm water at or below 40°C and wash them separately from other fabrics.
How can I keep cotton sheets soft over time?
Treat them gently and let the cotton do the rest.
For our cotton sheets, we recommend a gentle detergent, avoiding bleach and fabric softeners, and line drying away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry, soak, or dry clean them.
Because our extra-long-staple cotton is designed to soften with washing, proper care helps preserve that feel rather than trying to create softness through heavy fabric softeners.
How long do good-quality cotton sheets typically last?
There is no single expiration date for a set of sheets. How often you use them, how many sets you rotate between, and how you wash and dry them all affect their lifespan.
As a general benchmark, our bedsheet lifespan guide estimates around two to three years for cotton sheets, although quality bedding that is carefully maintained may serve you longer. Signs such as thinning fabric, tears, persistent pilling, or a noticeable loss of comfort are often more useful than the calendar when deciding when to replace them.
We Can't Wait for You to Try It
We've spent a lot of time getting the colours, patterns, and little details of this collection just right. We wanted each design to feel fresh and considered, while still being easy to bring into your everyday space.
Now that Willow is launching soon, we're excited for you to experience it for yourself, mix and match the pieces, and make the collection feel uniquely yours.
